Annual Report
This year’s report reflects a year of growth, innovation, and new beginnings at Niagara Children’s Centre. From strengthening early intervention and expanding recreation opportunities to introducing new supports for children and families, we continued to evolve while staying grounded in what matters most: helping children and youth be their best. With strong community partnerships, dedicated staff, and a shared commitment to inclusion, we are building new possibilities for the future.
In 2025-26:
- Expanded access to services and early intervention through the Infant Child Development Program, new Behaviour Support services, and expanded recreation therapy programs.
- Created new opportunities for children and youth to connect and thrive through DSBN Summer Camp, the Upper Extremity Skills Group, VOLT Hockey, and other inclusive recreation programs.
- Strengthened support for families through the Family Portal, Parent & Caregiver Conference, Dad’s Corner, and new opportunities for connection and community.
- Celebrated a year of quality, community, and innovation, including successful CARF Accreditation, the introduction of Sunny the River Otter, and new partnerships across Niagara.
- Reached new milestones in community support, including the Superhero Run surpassing $1 million in lifetime fundraising and continued generosity from donors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners.
The impact we achieve at Niagara Children’s Centre is made possible by the dedication of our children and families, employees, volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters. Together, we are strengthening the services available today while creating new opportunities for the children and families of tomorrow.
