Children's Centre recognizes National Day of Truth & Reconciliation

On Friday, Sept. 29, Centre staff gathered in front of the Glenridge Ave. facility's main entrance for a moment of reflection wearing orange to honour the children who did not make it home from residential schools and the thousands of children who are survivors to this day.

In the week leading up to the gathering, employees were encouraged to learn more about Indigenous culture, peoples and issues by participating in local events, watching webinars and education videos or reading the various resources now available about the importance of the day.
