Volt Hockey returns for a new season

September 15, 2023

Athletes participate in Volt Hockey in a gym

Volt Hockey returns for a new season

Has your child always wanted to participate in Canada's favourite pastime?

Designed with physical disabilities in mind, Volt Hockey allows athletes to participate in the sport by controlling specially designed chairs with a joystick. Recommended for ages six and older, players will learn to pass and shoot as they navigate around obstacles in a gymnasium. No hockey experience is required.

Whether you’d like to participate again or try for the first time, children, youth and their families are encouraged to join us at Niagara Children’s Centre for two opportunities to play this exciting adaptive sport.

Try it: Volt Hockey

Best suit for participants who can safely operate a go-kart style vehicle, attempt to avoid obstacles (operation training will be provided) and understand the rules of the game.

Wednesday, September 20 from 5:15 to 6:15 PM
