Parent Talk to discuss the impact of traumatic births
March 17, 2023

A difficult birth can impact us emotionally and physically.
During
this month's Parent Talk, a Niagara Children’s Centre Social Worker and a Peer Support Parent will guide a conversation about the impact of a traumatic birth experience and extended hospital stay on the individual and our family.
The event, which takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m., is being offered in a hybrid delivery format so parents who are unable to attend in person can join virtually via Zoom. If you are able to attend in person, you'll be able to sign-up for childcare, with a limited number of spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, please complete
the online sign-up form or contact Reception at least 24 hours in advance by phone at 905-688-3550 ext. 0.
The event is one of many being offered to parents/legal guardians of children and youth who are past or current clients (18 years & under) with an identified physical, developmental, and communicative delay or disability
