We value the diverse identities, experiences, perspectives, and abilities of the children, youth, families, staff, board members, and community partners who make up our community. 

The calendar provides opportunities for learning, reflection, recognition and celebration, while helping us better understand and appreciate the diverse experiences, identities and perspectives within our community. It is curated by our EDIA Committee as a resource to support meaningful engagement throughout the year.

Start of Better Speech & Hearing Month

Each year, Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) dedicates the month of May to raising public awareness about communication health. They work to highlight the importance of early detection and intervention of communication disorders and the role that its members and associates play in helping people communicate.
