The calendar provides opportunities for learning, reflection, recognition and celebration, while helping us better understand and appreciate the diverse experiences, identities and perspectives within our community. It is curated by our EDIA Committee as a resource to support meaningful engagement throughout the year.

National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action against Islamophobia
On January 29, 2017, six men were killed at the Centre culturel islamique de Québec. These men had just finished evening prayers. The attack was fueled by hate and fear. Today is an opportunity to remember those who were brutally slain, as well as the families who lost loved ones.
