Niagara IceDogs Goalie Mask Design Contest

Show the Niagara community we're united in red by designing the IceDogs' next goalie mask!

Young artists can unleash their creativity and design a mask for Owen Flores of the IceDogs. The winning design will be featured on the ice for the 2024-25 season! Entries must be submitted by July 10 at noon to be considered. Full contest details, rules, and regulations are available below.

To enter, follow these simple steps:

  1. Download the official design template [linked here or below].
  2. Create your unique design (hand-drawn or digital designs are accepted).
  3. Submit your entry through our online form below.

The winning design will receive: 

  1. A family four-pack of tickets to a Niagara IceDogs home game (date subject to availability).
  2. A meet-and-greet opportunity with Owen Flores and other IceDogs players.
  3. The honour of seeing their creation integrated into Owen Flores' goalie mask for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Official rules & regulations:

  1. The contest is open to Niagara residents aged 0 to 18 with a physical, developmental, and/or communicative delay or disability (diagnosed or suspected).
  2. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, July 10 at noon to qualify.
    1. Hand-drawn or digital designs are accepted.
  3. Up to four designs will be selected as finalists.
  4. Finalists will be judged by a public vote on Niagara Children’s Centre’s Facebook and Instagram page starting Monday, July 15 at noon and ending Friday, July 19 at noon.
  5. The finalists with the most votes will be declared the winner and receive the contest prize outlined above.
  6. The winner will receive the next steps on claiming their prize from a Niagara Children's Centre staff member.
  7. Submissions featuring illicit content will be disqualified.
  8. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platforms used throughout the contest.
