Service Squad: Volunteerism & Leadership
Youth are invited to join the Service Squad for an engaging 90-minute program on the last Tuesday of the month. During each 90-minute program, youth will embark on a series of tasks designed to foster personal growth and community engagement. Participants will collaborate on the tasks with their peers, alongside a Recreation Therapist and a Social Worker. Throughout the program, youth will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills, gain hands-on experience, while practicing their volunteering and leadership skills!
Note: Recommended age is 14-18 but if you think this sounds like a good fit for your child, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Participants must require minimal support and be able to manage their care independently (including toileting) or bring their support person.
