Summer Fun Camp (Aug 24 to 28)
Niagara Children’s Centre, in partnership with the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) and Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB), is proud to offer a Summer Fun Camp to provide children with physical disabilities and augmentative and alternative communication needs the opportunity to enjoy a fun and inclusive camp experience.
This camp is designed specifically to support children and youth who require assistance with mobility, personal care, communication, or feeding—ensuring that every child has the chance to participate fully.
Summer Camp will run for 4 full weeks in August. To provide this opportunity to as many children and families as possible, children selected to attend camp may attend one week only. Please submit a registration form for each week you would like your child to be considered. Following the application period, the Centre will contact families to confirm whether their child has been assigned a camp week. If you do not receive confirmation from the Centre by July 15th, unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate the camp request.
Who Can Attend?
This camp is for children and youth:
- Aged 4–18
- Living with significant physical disabilities and augmentative and alternative communication needs
- Currently supported by Niagara Children’s Centre
Camp Activities
Each day will feature themed fun and engaging experiences:
- Crafts
- Indoor & Outdoor Games
- Songs & Stories
- Pool Time (twice a week)
- Inclusive Outdoor Play
Please Note:
- Campers must not have significant behavioral or safety concerns that interfere with participation.
- There may be times when parents will be required to administer medication/G tubes in the event of staffing absence.
When: August 24 to 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day
Program Fee: $50/week*
*Financial assistance available upon request.
