We offer a full catalogue of FREE events for children, youth, and their families to receive information, education, support as well as opportunities to connect with others with shared experiences. We also offer opportunities for children and youth to engage in inclusive, accessible recreation activities and skill development in group settings.

Kitchen Academy

Kitchen Academy
Kitchen Academy is an engaging space for young chefs to develop practical skills and spark a love for cooking. This hands-on program will involve learning essential kitchen skills, including safety, hygiene, and basic cooking and baking techniques. Through guided activities, participants will practice using various kitchen utensils/appliances, follow recipes, and build confidence in the kitchen.
Please note: The recommended age range is 13-18, but if you think this sounds like a good fit for your child, please don’t hesitate to reach out to
rec@niagarachildrenscentre.com. Participants must not require 1-1 support for behavioral needs. Participants who need help with toileting must have a caregiver on-site.
