Your connection to the Centre extends beyond your child’s visits with their therapists. We offer a full catalogue of FREE events for children, youth, and their families to receive information, education, support, as well as opportunities to connect with others with shared experiences. We also offer opportunities for children and youth to engage in inclusive, accessible recreation activities and skill development in group settings.

Group-topia
Hosted at Niagara Children’s Centre, this social-based youth group allows participants to engage in an environment with both structured and unstructured activities.
Suggested Ages: 12-18 (If you think this sounds like a good fit for your child and they are outside the suggested age, please email our Recreation Therapist to discuss).
Best Suited For: Participants who are interested in engaging socially with peers and demonstrate safe social behaviours.
Youth who can participate and attend with minimal support (including toileting) may attend independently upon completion of an updated medical form and emergency contact form. Parents/caregivers of youth who require periodic support are asked to remain on-site.
