Your connection to the Centre extends beyond your child’s visits with their therapists. We offer a full catalogue of FREE events for children, youth, and their families to receive information, education, support, as well as opportunities to connect with others with shared experiences. We also offer opportunities for children and youth to engage in inclusive, accessible recreation activities and skill development in group settings.

Happy Hour
For Children and Parents/Caregivers (Separately!)
Join us for an hour of fun for the whole family! Children participate in open gym activities and socially engage with peers facilitated by a Recreation Therapist, while parents enjoy “happy hour.” Hosted by Centre Social Workers, caregivers can unwind in a separate space on-site while enjoying a featured refreshment.
Suggested Age: 6 to 11 (If you think this sounds like a good fit for your child and they are outside of the suggested age, please contact rec@niagarachildrenscentre.com.)
Best Suited For: Participants who have the ability to remain safely in program space without 1:1 support and understand safe social behaviours. All participants must have an updated medical form prior to the program.
