Helping children and youth “be their best”
So often, when a family has concerns about their child, the first place they turn to is Niagara Children’s Centre. We are Niagara’s one-stop organization supporting more than 5,300 children and youth to reach their communication, developmental, physical and behavioural goals each year. We do this by offering speech & language therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and a variety of other specialized programs, supports and services.
Our commitment also extends to supporting the child’s family/caregivers through a range of programs that support skill teaching to help their child, empowerment and support. We know that families often feel alone. Our innovative family support programs also provide opportunities for families to connect with and support other families, including peer-to-peer support.
Our reputation is centred on our caring and professional staff providing high quality, strengths-based, family-centred services. We are an accredited organization, reaching the highest level of accreditation through CARF International- evidence of our commitment to international best practices.
